Ralph Kuhn picture

Ralph Kuhn, P.Eng., PMP, PMI-SP
Ralph is a professional engineer, who had a calling to embark in a career in project management. He earned his PMP 1999 when the PMBOK “was very thin”. In 2008, Ralph added the PMI Scheduling Professional credential; he was one of the first in Canada. He contributed to the planning of large mission critical projects including nuclear reactor refurbishment, financial mergers and, currently, clinical trial planning for a drug research firm on the cutting edge of the war against the Corona virus. He feels honoured for the opportunity to “drive real work” as the project manager in energy and in IT Infrastructure sectors. He always emphasizes user acceptance testing, commissioning, advocating training and transition to operations as foundational components in a project plan. Public sector project consulting engagements have landed Ralph where capital projects, business change and information technology interests intersect. As a master scheduler for multi-year hospital renovations, he pioneered techniques to keep requirements gathering, key decisions and procurement on time and on budget. Ralph has a passion for practical solutions. Ralph shares these solutions as an instructor at the internationally renowned Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Canada.
